Description

Arduino MKR WiFi 1010

The MKR WIFI 1010 is an upgrade to the MKR 1000 WIFI. It is equipped with an ESP32 module from U-BLOX. This board is designed to speed up and simplify prototyping of WiFi-based IoT applications thanks to the flexibility of the ESP32 module and its low power consumption.

Features:

- SAMD21 Cortex-M0 + 32-bit low-power ARM MCU.
- U-BLOX NINA-W10 series 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11 b / g / n Wi-Fi
- ECC508 Crypto Authentication

The MKR WIFI 1010 has 32-bit computing power, the usual comprehensive set of I / O interfaces and low-power Wi-Fi with a cryptochip for secure communication with SHA-256 encryption. It offers easy operation through Arduino software (IDE) for code development and programming. All these features make this board the preferred choice for emerging battery-powered IoT projects in a compact form factor.
Power (5 V) can be supplied to the board via the USB port. It features a Li-Po charging circuit that allows the Arduino MKR WIFI 1010 to run on battery or an external 5 volt source, charging the Li-Po battery while running on external power. Switching from one source to the other is automatic.

Warning: Unlike most Arduino boards, the MKR WIFI 1010 runs on 3.3V. The maximum voltage that the E / A pins can tolerate is 3.3V. Applying voltages above 3.3V to any E / A pin can damage the board. While output to 5V digital devices is possible, bidirectional communication with 5V devices requires proper level shifting.

Arduino MKR WiFi 1010

Eigenschaften:

  • SAMD21 Cortex-M0 + 32-Bit-Low-Power-ARM-MCU
  • U-BLOX NINA-W10 Serie 2,4 GHz IEEE 802.11 b / g / n Wi-Fi
  • ECC508 Crypto-Authentifizierung
