What is digital microfluidics?
Using electro-wetting technology you can move droplets of your reagents digitally (using buttons). This is the key building block of digital microfluidics, allowing you to control the reaction sequence.
This design by Urs Gaudenz, of GaudiLabs is a low-cost alternative to the DropBot technology designed by the Wheeler Laboratory.
This research platform is intended for first steps and experiments with digital microfluidics, not commercial usage.
We are very interested in any feedback (support [at] pi3g.com) for future development of the platform.
