Ein/Aus-Schalter

Der Ein-Aus-Schalter dient zur Steuerung des Ein- und Ausschaltens des Systems durch
GPIO3 am 40-poligen Anschluss, und mit Hilfe von auf dem Compute Module 4 installierte Software.

Befestigung für das Compute Module 4

Die vier Muttern an der Unterseite des Gehäuses helfen das Compute Module 4 auf dem IO-Board und dem Gehäuse zuverlässig zu befestigen. Es gibt vier 1,5 mm hohe
Unterlegscheiben aus schwarzem Nylon, die das Compute Module 4 an den vier Ecken
der Leiterplatte stützen. Das verhindert eine mögliche Verformung der Leiterplatte und eine Beschädigung der Schaltkreise wenn das Compute Module 4 auf die IO-Platte geschraubt werden würde, ohne es abzustützen.

Kühlung des Compute Module 4

Ein leiser 12V/60mA-Lüfter ist direkt über dem Compute Module 4 installiert, der durch vier Silikonscheiben vom Gehäuse isoliert ist. Diese Silikonscheiben entkoppeln den Lüfter vom Gehäuse, so dass der erzeugte Lärm reduziert wird.

Der Lüfter kann die CPU-Temperatur um bis zu 20°C senken. Die Wärme, die vom gesamten System erzeugt wird, wird vom Lüfter durch die Schlitze an den Seiten des Gehäuses abgeleitet.

Externe Antenne

Die offiziell zertifizierte 2.4 GHz/5 GHz WiFi/Bluetooth-Antenne des Raspberry Pi kann auf dem Gehäuse installiert werden.

Batterie

Eine Philips CR2032 Eco-friendly Batterie ist enthalten, um die RTC-Funktion (Real Time Clock) zu unterstützen.

The CM4 IO Case is a kit specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 IO Board. It can convert the Compute Module 4 (CM4) and the corresponding CM4 IO Board into a commercial industrial computer for various end applications.

Power Switch

The power switch is used to control the powering on and off of the system through GPIO3 on the 40-pin connector, and with the help of software installed on the Compute Module 4.

Mechanical Protection
This metal case perfectly fits the mechanical properties of the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 IO Board, and all interfaces are routed out of the housing. It also provides excellent shielding and protection for your Compute Module 4 and the IO Board.

Mounting for the Compute Module 4
The four nuts at the bottom of the case help securely mount the Compute Module 4 onto the IO board and the case. There are four 1.5 mm high nylon spacers that support the Compute Module 4 at the four corners of the PCB. This prevents possible deformation of the PCB and damage to the circuits if the Compute Module 4 were to be screwed onto the IO plate without support.

Cooling for the Compute Module 4
A quiet 12V/60mA fan is installed directly above the Compute Module 4, which is isolated from the housing by four silicone pads. These silicone pads decouple the fan from the housing, thereby reducing the noise produced.
The fan can lower the CPU temperature by up to 20°C. The heat generated by the entire system is dissipated by the fan through the vents on the sides of the case.

External Antenna
The officially certified 2.4 GHz/5 GHz WiFi/Bluetooth antenna from Raspberry Pi can be installed on the case.

Battery
A Philips CR2032 eco-friendly battery is included to support the RTC function (Real Time Clock).
