Beschreibung CM4IO Board

Dieses CM4IO Board ist ein Breakout Board um die Entwicklung von auf dem Compute Module 4 basierenden eigenen Hardware Carrierboards deutlich zu beschleunigen. In manchen Fällen kann es sogar als Lösung eingesetzt werden, um bestimmte Funktionen auf der Raspberry Pi Plattform zu ermöglichen, zum Beispiel direktes Einstecken einer PCI Express Karte.

Dieses Board verfügt über folgende Features:

2 x HDMI Steckverbinder (normale Größe)
2 x MIPI DSI Display FPC Steckverbinder

Durch direkten Zugriff auf die PCI Express Schnittstelle hat dieses Board keine USB 3.0 Schnittstellen - diese könnten aber bspw. durch Stecken einer Erweiterungskarte in den PCI Express Port nachgerüstet werden.

Das Compute Module 4 hat in den WLAN (Wireless) Varianten eine onboard PCB Antenne, aber auch einen U.FL Steckverbinder, mit dem optional eine externe Antenne angeschlossen werden kann.

The CM4IO Board is a breakout board designed to significantly speed up the development of custom hardware carrier boards based on the Compute Module 4. In some cases, it can even be used as a direct solution for enabling specific functions on the Raspberry Pi platform, such as directly plugging in a PCI Express card.

This board offers the following features:

Gigabit Ethernet jack with PoE support (requires PoE HAT)

Due to direct access to the PCI Express interface, this board does not include USB 3.0 interfaces. However, these can be added by inserting an expansion card into the PCI Express port.

Description Antenna Set

The Compute Module 4 has an onboard PCB antenna in the wireless variants, as well as a U.FL connector for optionally attaching an external antenna.

The antenna set offered by Raspberry Pi includes:

An antenna pre-certified for use with the Compute Module CM4 (saves costs and speeds up time-to-market!)
A bulkhead fixture
An adapter cable to U.FL connector
