LetsTrust TPM – Trusted Platform Module for Raspberry Pi

The LetsTrust TPM is an easy-to-integrate TPM security solution for Raspberry Pi , based on the Infineon Optiga™ SLB 9672 TPM 2.0 . As a dedicated hardware TPM, it enables the secure storage of cryptographic keys and the execution of security-critical operations directly on the device.

A TPM (Trusted Platform Module) is a specialized security chip used for authentication , digital signatures , secure boot , and the secure management of cryptographic keys , among other things . Unlike software-based solutions, a hardware TPM offers a significantly higher level of security.

Additionally, the LetsTrust TPM can be used as a True Hardware Random Number Generator (TRNG) – ideal for applications that require a high-quality source of true random numbers.

High compatibility & easy integration

The LetsTrust TPM communicates via the SPI interface and is compatible with all Raspberry Pi single-board computers , including:

• Raspberry Pi 5*, Raspberry Pi 4, Raspberry Pi 3 / 3B+, Raspberry Pi 2 / 1
  

• Raspberry Pi Zero
  

• Raspberry Pi 400 (with adapter cable)
  

Thanks to its compact 2×5-pin footprint (pins 17–26), other GPIO pins remain fully usable. The module fits into common standard enclosures and can optionally be permanently soldered .

* Note for Raspberry Pi 5: When using a standard cooling solution, a stacking header is also required.
